I was traveling through Irving and we decided to try Blue Crab. I was thoroughly disappointed in the taste of the food. The calamari was cold and with a strong after taste, couldn’t eat it. The seafood boils were horrible. I then decided to try fried chicken wings, there were not tasteful at all. If you like good food, this is not it.

i’m not one to typically leave reviews but i have to for this one. starting out we ordered oysters some of them tasted fine but most out of the two dozen we got tasted like trash water i spit two of them out and didn’t want to try anymore. when we got our entrées the chicken wings came out RAW you could see pink all throughout the meat and there was almost little to no flavor on our seafood boils. also id like to add we showed the server the raw chicken she took it to show the kitchen or the manager and no one came out at all. ive worked service industry for years and one thing i always did is make sure a manger knew about any problem and went to the table. my last straw was when we were leaving and stepped on a live roach right behind our table. i will not be coming back here just sucks since this was supposed to be my birthday dinner and we try and change the place up every year.

I understand that restaurants and delivery platforms need to make a profit, but the pricing here feels excessive and difficult to justify. For example, eggs are priced at approximately $1.50 each, while a dozen eggs can often be purchased at a grocery store for around the same price. That represents a markup of well over 1,000% compared to retail pricing. The sausage pricing is equally difficult to justify. Eckrich smoked sausage typically retails for around $4 per package (the sausage they use, im like 96 percent positive) at most grocery stores, yet comparable portions here are priced at approximately $22. Based on retail cost, that's roughly a 450% markup. Lobster is another example. A pound of lobster generally retails for around $35, while this restaurant charges approximately $70 for a one pound lobster. That's a 100% markup over retail cost. The snow crab pricing is perhaps the most shocking. Two snow crab clusters (approximately one pound) are priced at around $45. Meanwhile, a retail box containing roughly 12–15 clusters can often be purchased for around $25. Based on those numbers, the restaurant is charging an estimated 1,000%–1,250% markup compared to retail pricing. T

I finally tried The Blue Crab and I’m so glad I did! I ordered the combo with shrimp, snow crab, and sausage, and it came with two potatoes and two corn on the cob—definitely a lot of food. I had it seasoned with the Blue Crab special, and everything was absolutely delicious. The seafood was flavorful and well-seasoned, and the portion size was more than enough (I couldn’t even finish it). I gave the sausage to my fiancé and he loved it, so that was a win too 😊 I’ve always been curious about this place, and it did not disappoint. I’ll definitely be back!

Seasoned really good. Not over cooked. Fried fish was crispy on the outside soft on the inside, how it should be... Combo A medium spicy yummy and filling. Teriyaki salmon great portion and cooked to perfection, veggies fresh not over cooked. We got garlic potatoes with it and decided to add a side of rice. Drinks were very tasty! Definitely did the job. We will be going back hopefully they are consistent. Worst thing about finding a new place that you like and you go back for round 2 but not as good as the first time. Hopefully they will be and if so I'll update you all. Im a southern girl who loves flavor, they had it....Give it a try!
